  34. I  had  your same problems when I tried to use AmiTCP the first times.  The
  35. 14.400  baud  setting  is  __NOT__  a standard one for the serial.  You can
  36. easily  choose  an  higher __STANDARD__ one with no problems, for example I
  37. have a 14.400 modem but my startnet script is set to BAUD=38.400.  THE ONLY
  38. THING  you  have  to  remember  is  that both your dialer and your startnet
  39. script  must use the same baudrate:  I use TERM 4.1 to dial my provider and
  40. I set its serial values to 38.400 baud too.  Hope this can help.
